I’m sitting drinking my tea looking at the pictures from Haylie’s wedding shower, it’s nice to relax.
It’s been a long day but seeing Haylie’s smile makes it all worth it.
Elisa decorated her loft with candles, little pumpkins, and banners that had a sparkle of gold. We ate sausage stuffed mushrooms, apple slices covered with caramel, marshmallow cream and sprinkles, cheese, pretzels and we drank apple cider with our gold straws. It was lovely and memorable.
We played a really fun game he said/she said Haylie did a pretty good job knowing what Benjamin was going to say.
She only had to chew 4 pieces of bubblegum!
I will share the vid from the last question …
Haylie, who would you say is the best driver, you or Benjamin? Click to see the video.
Benjamin’s response …
Haha! What fun. They agreed on a lot. They gave each other the credit for being the better cook but there was a little confusion as to who was doing most of the honeymoon planning.
We had a short devo that reminded us that marriage has been God’s idea all along. When He created Adam, God saw that Adam was lonely and being the loving Creator He is … he made a helper for him, Eve.
“Women were created from the rib of man to be beside him, not from his head to top him, nor from his feet to be trampled by him, but from under his arm to be protected by him, near to his heart to be loved by him.” M. Henry
With glad hearts, we all prayed for Haylie and Benjamin. We prayed the Lord would bless them and continually bring them closer together. We also prayed and asked God to give them a lovely, warm, sunny day for their wedding.
Then came the presents. Haylie got lovely gifts. We are thankful for generous friends.
Here are some pictures from the shower. ((HUGS))
